Handouts & Downloads
There are two places where you can place handouts & downloads.  There is a "Handouts" link in the main menu on the left - use this for links for all your students regardless of what class they are in.  There is also a "Handouts" tab for each class - use this where you want to separate handouts according to classes.

Teacher functions include:

Add a Handout

1 - Make sure you login first.

2 - Click on the Handouts link or Handouts tab.

3 - Click the "Add Handout" button at the bottom of the page.

4 - An "Enter New Handout" window will appear.

5 - Fill in the "Link Category".  You may make up what you want for categories.  Categories will be listed in alphabetical order.  You can change the order by starting each category with a number.  Spacing and capitalization are critical for proper grouping on the page.

6 - Fill in the "Handout Title" as you want it to appear on the page.

7 - Click the "Browse" button near the "Locate handout File" text box.  At this time only PDF, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel files can be uploaded.  Other file type can be added upon request.  However, remember the student must have the coresponding software to open the file.  PDF format is the most universal file type for read only files.

8 - Locate the file to upload and click on the "Open" button.

9 - Fill in the "Hanout Description".

10 - When done, click on the "Save" button.

11 - You will see a message indicating that the new handout has been added.  This window should close in 5 seconds, if it does not, close it yourself.

12 - To see the changes, click on the handouts link or handouts tab.

Delete a Handout
